Professional Window Tint Meters for Law Enforcement, Inspection & Auto Shops

Looking for a reliable tint meter to measure automotive window tint? EDTM's Tint-Chek series of professional window tint meters measures Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) through automotive glass and glass/film combinations up to 1/4 inch (6.5 mm) thick.

Designed for law enforcement, automotive inspectors, and professional window tint installers, EDTM tint meters provide quick, consistent readings to help evaluate window tint in the field or in the shop.

Choose the Right Window Tint Meter

EDTM offers three Tint-Chek models to meet different automotive tint testing needs.

• TC1800 Tint-Chek: A compact, single-piece tint meter for measuring VLT through side windows that roll down. Displays readings to the nearest 1%.
• TC2800 Tint-Chek+: A single-piece window tint meter with a backlit display and 0.1% measurement resolution, making readings easier to view in low-light conditions.
• TC3800 Tint-Chek PRO: A two-piece tint meter designed to test windshields, rear windows, and side windows, with a backlit display and 0.1% measurement resolution.

How to Choose a Tint Meter

Choose the TC1800 for straightforward side-window tint measurements, the TC2800 if you need a backlit display and finer measurement resolution, or the TC3800 if you need to test windshields and rear windows as well.
